A Whimsical Wander Through Tim Burton’s Twisted Genius – From Paris to London!

Back in 2023, I had the absolute joy of exploring Tim Burton’s Labyrinth in Paris, an immersive experience that was an original creation by LETSGO in collaboration with Tim Burton himself. It was everything you’d expect from the master of the macabre – eerie, magical, and delightfully surreal.
Set up like a choose-your-own-adventure, the labyrinth was a journey through Burton’s world, with each door leading to a new, fantastical scene. I wandered through the dark, tangled forest of Corpse Bride, marvelled at Edward Scissorhands’ hauntingly beautiful sketches, and got wonderfully lost among the chaos of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The exhibition brought Burton’s unique creative process to life, featuring original artworks, enchanting character designs, and captivating scenography inspired by his iconic films like Alice in Wonderland and Beetlejuice. It was a feast for the eyes and the imagination, and as a lifelong Burton fan, it felt like stepping into a dream.
If you missed the Paris labyrinth, don’t despair – there’s something equally exciting coming to the Design Museum in London this year! The London exhibition is a brand-new showcase of Burton’s artistry, diving deep into his creative universe. While it’s not the same as Paris’ immersive labyrinth, it promises to be just as extraordinary, with a fresh take on his unique vision.
