This free, family-friendly event brings the ancient art of shadow puppetry to life with hundreds of hand-cut silhouettes flickering in motion. A unique blend of traditional and modern techniques will tell the tale of a child’s journey through a world where night never ends and sleep is forbidden—all crafted live in front of the audience.
Canadian artist Daniel Wishes and Japanese artist Seri Yanai, the duo behind Mochinosha, have mesmerized audiences worldwide with their intricate storytelling and puppetry mastery. Now, they bring their artistry to London for a one-day-only special event at the V&A’s Raphael Gallery.
