For all my fellow puppet lovers, there’s a fantastic exhibition you won’t want to miss! Following the ‘Toon Underground’ community parade, part of Moving Parts Festival on Saturday, April 19th at 2 PM (Northumberland Street, Newcastle), a stunning display of giant puppets, costumes, and masks will be showcased at the Great North Museum: Hancock for one week.
Created by over 100 local residents and artists through free workshops, the pieces explore the hidden, unseen world of Newcastle—its nature, ecosystem, and the ways we connect.
